Thermal Control Medical Applications

Man going into MRI

Advancements in micro-processing have given us amazing breakthroughs in the medical community. Medical technology is only getting smaller, as evidenced with implantable devices, more accurate surgical tools, and MRI and CAT scan machines that have been reduced in size to use less energy and take up less space.

At the same time, the regulations within the medical industry are tighter than ever. Many medical devices have a temperature range tolerance requirement of 1° Celsius or less.

While the opportunities for innovation are limitless, each and every device must work precisely to ensure consistent care, accurate test results, and safety for the patients and staff. This is why it’s critical to partner with a company who can not only provide a high quality and reliable thermal control product for your design, but also act as a partner in the design process to make sure your finished product follows strict requirements related to temperature tolerances.

Calco Electric Corp. prides itself on not just selling components but partnering with its customers to provide the best possible solution and ensure the successful launch of your new or upgraded device.
